Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides group behavioral interventions in a clinical setting for children and youth from 2 to 21 years-old diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders. BHT-ABA staff work with participants under the supervision and guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Working as part of a clinical team helping to positively impact the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families
Assignments
Support participants in a range of therapeutic activities that relate to each consumer's Individual Treatment Plan
Implement the consumer's treatment plan in accordance with the written protocols
Collectdata to document services provided, obtaining appropriate signatures and collecting other relevant documentation
Build rapport and maintain clinical boundaries with participants and families
Work collaboratively with the family in conjunction with other members of the treatment team
Work closely with the supervising Behavior Analyst to provide input on response to treatment and progress
Accurately document individualized programs and data recording related to all areas determined in the treatment plan
Submitaccurate clinical documentation within specified time frames
Record data within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Maintain billable hours, as assigned
General Assignments
Record time and attendance via HRIS and Timekeeping system
Attend meetings/training as requested/required
Other duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications
Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT)OR Registered Behavior TechnicianORBoard-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)ORhave a High School Diploma and have completed or be willing to complete the 40-hour RBT trainingOR have a High School Diploma or the equivalent, at least 2 years' experience as a BHT, and have completed or be willing to complete the 40-hour RBT Training
Ability to deliver and accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
Effective time management and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Commitment to maintain client and family confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws and internal policies and procedures.
Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, technology & telehealth, and relevant training in order to perform job responsibilities to required standard.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and respond efficiently
