The School-Based Mental Health Therapist provides a bridge between mental well-being and education. This role provides group and individual therapy services, crisis management and participates as a member of the individual’s treatment team. The School-Based Mental Health Therapist works with students in the school system to assist in decreasing behavioral and emotional barriers that can impact learning, social development, and positive communication skills.
