Position Summary
The School-Based Mental Health Therapist provides a bridge between mental well-being and education. This role provides group and individual therapy services, crisis management and participates as a member of the individual’s treatment team. The School-Based Mental Health Therapist works with students in the school system to assist in decreasing behavioral and emotional barriers that can impact learning, social development, and positive communication skills. Individuals generally can range from kindergarten to twelfth grade. This role requires flexibility and time management skills to schedule assessments and sessions within the school day schedule. Compensation: Up to $55k annually.
