Board Certified Behavior Analyst

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will assess referred individuals and collaborate with the treatment team to design and direct the implementation of the treatment plan. The BCBA will also support, supervise, and train behavioral health technicians in carrying out the treatment plan. The BCBA will have generous opportunities for professional collaboration and growth as part of the ABA clinical team and the opportunity for hybrid work. 


Assignments 

  • Develop and supervise individualized ABA programs for participants using up-to-date research and evidence-based practices 
  • Conduct assessments on new referrals and use assessment data to design treatment plans, protocols, and implementation procedures 
  • Work collaboratively with other BCBA's as a co-lead on individual treatment plans 
  • Complete assigned amount of billable hours per year 
  • Support the provision of ABA services individual and group formats 
  • Maintain accountability to the identified expectations for performance, compliance and quality standards 
  • Timely completion of paperwork 
  • Travel when assigned / necessary for participant program and care 
  • Work collaboratively and respectfully with other disciplines, incorporating a team approach to treatment plans 
  • Provide parent training 
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the participant's family and respond to guardian questions in a timely and professional manner 
  • Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with parents, team members, and professionals to ensure participant progress, transfer of skills, and increased independence 
  • Strictly adhere to the BACB ?Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts? 
  • Follow guidelines set forth in the Council of Autism Service Providers': ?Applied Behavior Analysis Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder: Practice Guidelines for Healthcare Funders and Managers? 
  • Maintain client and family confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws and internal policies and procedures 

Supervision 

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of behavior technicians (BHTs) in accordance with IBHS regulations 
  • Model evidence-based decision-making and ethical behaviors for clinical staff 
  • Review session notes and data taken by BHT's as assigned to monitor participant progress and BHT performance 

General Supervision 

  • Approve all timecards and time off requests within a timely fashion (24 hour turnaround) 
  • Prepare and participate in review process 
  • Responsible for personnel management, performance reviews, competency development, and coaching of staff 

General Assignments 

  • Record time and attendance via HRIS and Timekeeping system 
  • Attend meetings/training as requested/required for licensure and Familylinks employment 
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications 

  • Prior experience in using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) (e.g., Central Reach) 
  • Required: Master's Degree in Applied behavior Analysis, education or other related field 
  • Required: CURRENT AND ACTIVE Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board 
  • Required: 3-5 years working as a licensed behavior analyst/Board Certified Behavior Analyst 
  • Preferred: Management experience 
  • Required: Experience working with children ages 0-21 implementing ABA 
  • Ability to deliver and accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly. 
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co- workers, supervisors, and community members. 
  • Ability to relay clinical protocols in easy-to-understand manner 
  • Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and respond efficiently 
  • Proficiency with MS Office, computer/laptop, tablet and cell phone required
