Position Summary
Program Managers lead multi-disciplinary teams that provide community-based services to consumers while working with departmental leadership in developing, interpreting and leading implementation of policies, strategies and outcomes.

Assignments
- Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of their assigned team in accordance with applicable licensing and/or regulatory compliance.
- Implement the agency's policies and procedures in all operational functions.
- Provide successful conflict resolution with stakeholders including participants, families and external agencies as needed while maintaining positive relationships.
- Implement established quality review process and initiate actions to improve quality of service.
- Responsible for assuring program expenditures are in line with established program budgets.
- Ensure individual participant budgets are within the programs county allocation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and instruct staff accordingly, including expectations established for Incident Management.
- As requested, assist in emergency situations.
- Participate in agency after hours and manager of the day on call rotations.
Supervision
- Provide clinical supervision to up to 7 Support Coordinators.
- Ensure staff complete required trainings in accordance with regulation, and agency/program standards while securing appropriate resources to ensure training and growth of staff occurs
- Interview and hire staff to maintain approved staffing levels.
General Supervision
- Approve all staff expenses, timecards and time off requests within a timely fashion (24 hour turnaround).
- Responsible for personnel management, performance reviews, competency development, and coaching of staff.
General Assignments
- Record time and attendance via HRIS and Timekeeping system.
- Attend meetings/training and supervision as requested/required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures, including those related to maintaining client confidentiality such as HIPAA
Education & Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree with major coursework in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice or other related social sciences; and two years' experience as a Supports Coordinator; or have a combination of experience and education equaling at least six years of experience in public or private social work including at least 24 college-level credit hours in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology or other related social science.
- Candidates must have knowledge of Pennsylvania's intellectual disability and autism service system which includes successful completion of:
- Person-Centered Thinking training
- Person-Centered Planning training
- Prior supervision experience is highly desirable but not required.
- Carries no permanent caseload or has three or fewer participants.
- A valid driver's license and access to an automobile for agency business are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, computer/laptop, tablet and cell phone required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Working Conditions
- Flexible scheduling may be required.
- Must be able to travel to various office and community locations.
- Work will be completed remotely at home, within the office, or other community location maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to lift and carry light boxes of files and supplies (less than 10 pounds) on occasion.
- A limited amount of walking and standing may be necessary in carrying out duties.
Required Training
- Complete a minimum of 24 hours of training each year.
