Assignments

  • · Implement and maintain the Behavioral Health program's philosophy, principles, and procedures in all facets of performance.
  • · Prepare or assist in preparation and implementation of treatment/educational plans and goals that reflect unit standards and measurable outcomes.
  • · Assess or provide therapy, counseling, intervention and/or education to clients in a professional manner.
  • · Provide clinically appropriate treatment based on mental health assessment and treatment plans.
  • · Complete timely and accurate documentation. Meet audited tested requirements.
  • · Communicate, collaborate, and meet with staff, families, external agencies and/or others as necessary to support services to clients and the mission of the agency. Inform, instruct and assist client concerning the access of appropriate community resources.
  • · Complete the required number of sessions per pay period.
  • · Assure continuous reimbursable sessions for assigned clients. Work with the billing department to monitor client compliance with payments and developing payment plan with clients as needed.
  • · Track and complete managed care authorizations and extensions.
  • · Participate in planned supervision and case consultation conferences. Come prepared with an agenda and keep supervisor informed.
  • General Assignments
  • · Record time and attendance via HRIS and Timekeeping system
  • · Attend meetings/training as requested/required
  • · Other duties as assigned
  • · Adhere to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures, including those related to maintaining client confidentiality such as HIPAA

Education & Qualifications

  • · Master's Degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work or Psychology
  • · Experience with clinical techniques in Child Development, Family Systems theory and Brief-Solution Focused Treatment or other comparable treatment modalities is preferred.
  • · A valid driver's license along with access to a vehicle.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, computer/laptop, tablet and cell phone required

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Working Conditions

  • · Evening and weekend hours may be required
  • · Ability to lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds of files.
  • · May do some pushing, pulling, standing and walking (1-3 hours)
  • · Flexible with scheduling and site locations and to perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks
